Ethel Blees Robinson

Ethel Blees Robinson of Fenter, Arkansas passed away Friday, January 17, 2014 at the age of 100. Ethel was born to Peter Blees and Rachel (Dillon) Blees on her birthdate , March 29, 1913. She married Elmer Clarence Robinson and lived in Grant County the majority of her life.
Ethel retired from the Benton Service Center and enjoyed her hobbies: gardening, canning and cooking for her family. Ethel is pre-deceased by her parents; husband; six brothers: Pete, Matt, John, Isaac, Albert and Floyd; and two sisters, Ann Blees and Mary Holly.
Ethel is survived by: one brother, Carl Blees of Hot Springs; two sons, Raymond Ford (wife Lynda) and Larry Robinson; and one daughter, Pheba Robinson, whom all lives in Fenter, Arkansas and had the wonderful privilege of being very near their loving mother for many years; five grandchildren: Debbie Griffin, Glenn Robinson, Christina Robinson Missy Ford-Sowell and Michelle Paladino; a host of nieces and nephews; twelve great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
Ethel was a wonderful and loving mother and grandmother who graciously strived to give completely of herself to her family. She will be deeply missed and always loved by her family. The family sincerely thanks Dr Burton and Dr. Thaxton and staff for the many years of healthcare they provided.
Visitation will be held at Atkinson Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday January 19, 2014 from 5-7 p.m. Funeral Services will be Monday morning at 10:00 a.m, January 20, 2014 at the Atkinson Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mark Thornton officiating. Pallbearers will be Cody Fiser, Dustin Fiser, Tyler Robinson, Brandon Robinson, Alexander Nichols and Jarrod Kilby. Alternate Pallbearers will be Jordan Wallis,David Blees, Paul Blees and Paul Griffin. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Burton, Dr. Thaxton and their staff.
